Medieval Guard - knight, caracter design

This is one of my designs for my personal project. This is the medieval guard from Vogelberg fortress. He defends the main gate and patrols the streets. As a knight, he has the short sword on his belt with the scabbard, and the shield. They serve him as additional weapons. His main weapon is a halberd. I designed three different types of guards: with a mace, with a halberd, and with a short sword. For the final render I chose the last one with the sword and the shield, but I added him the halberd similar to the second one. The coat of arms of the fortress is depicted on his shield. There are red and black colors, strips, and four white oak leaves. Also, I used historical references in my design, so the result is historically accurate.
